Inventor(s) include Dr. Chandni Patel; Dr. Rutvik Dave; Dr. Jinay Sathwara; Dr. Khushboo Desai; Dr. Foram Pathak; Dr. Romil Patel; Shivani Patel; Dr. Parth Desai; and Dr. Santosh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel regenerative formulation combining Pudina (mint) juice with platelet rich fibrin (PRF) to enhance tissue healing and regeneration. Platelet rich fibrin, derived from autologous blood, provides a natural fibrin scaffold enriched with growth factors and cytokines essential for cellular proliferation, angiogenesis, and tissue remodeling. Pudina juice contributes bioactive phytochemicals possessing antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties that support a favorable healing environment. The combination of Pudina juice with PRF results in a synergistic bioactive matrix capable of accelerating wound repair, reducing inflammation, and minimizing microbial contamination. The formulation may be applied in medical, dental, surgical, and veterinary regenerative procedures for both soft and hard tissue repair. The invention offers a biocompatible, cost-effective, and minimally invasive alternative to conventional regenerative materials by utilizing autologous biological components and natural herbal extracts. This integrated approach represents an innovative advancement in regenerative medicine with improved safety, enhanced healing efficiency, and broader clinical applicability."
