According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A PTSD monitoring and therapeutic intervention device, comprising a therapeutic mattress 101 to support a user with PTSD, a plurality of pressure sensors 102 continuously detects body weight distribution during sleep, an rPPG (remote photoplethysmography) sensor 103 continuously measures the user's respiratory rhythm and heart rate variability, a plurality of vibration actuators 105 to generate gentle rhythmic tactile stimulation to transition the user from deep sleep to lighter conscious stages upon detection of excessive restlessness, to reduce PTSD-associated anxiety, a plurality of inflatable air bladder sections 106 connected to an air pump unit 107 to selectively inflate and deflate to gently guide chest expansion and contraction, reducing physiological stress responses during distress episodes, and an aromatic solution reservoir 109 with a misting nozzle 110 to release controlled quantities of the therapeutic aromatic mist upon distress even detection to reduce user anxiety."
