MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092617 A) filed by Ab Lindex, Gothenburg, Sweden, on Sept. 26, for 'protective garment.'
Inventor(s) include Drevik, Solgun; Dasanayake Mudiyanselage, Hasanthi Kaushalya; Ubesingha Arachchige, Manoshi Hansapani; and Lo, Ebba.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Washable protective garment (100) comprising a front part (101); a back part (102); a waist (103); and a crotch part (110) having a leak-proof body (120). The garment (100) comprises a dorsal shaping element (130), in turn comprising flexible first (140), second (150) and third (160) element parts, in that the first element part (140) is fastened to the leak-proof body (120) and is arranged to run along the intergluteal cleft of a standing user whereas the second (150) and third (160) ele- ment parts are arranged to extend towards a hip user, in that the first element part (140) applies a first tension force (F1) along the intergluteal cleft of the user whereas the second (150) and third (160) element parts apply lateral second (F2) and third (F3) tension forces."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/SE2024/050250.
