Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Protection Netting For Civil Works With Highly Resistant Metal Wires With A Protective Coating' Filed by Officine Maccaferri S. P. A.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045514 A) filed by Officine Maccaferri S. P. A., Milano, Italy, on May 12, for 'protection netting for civil works with highly resistant metal wires with a protective coating.'

Inventor(s) include Gagliardi Antoine.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A protection netting for civil works comprises metal wires which have high strength and which have a protective plastics coating the netting is of the double twist or triple twist type with hexagonal mesh and wherein the wires are steel wires with a tensile strength between 550 and 1350 MPa."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 11, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050286.
