MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517021316 A) filed by Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on March 10, for 'protection circuit and charging equipment.'
Inventor(s) include Abe Kosuke; and Munehira Shuhei.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention in a simple manner ensures safety for the human body with respect to leakage current. Provided is a protection circuit that is between: an exposed positive contact terminal a first negative contact terminal and a second negative contact terminal; and a positive terminal and a ground terminal of a power output unit. The protection circuit comprises: a P type MOSFET; a first electrical path connecting the positive contact terminal with a drain terminal of the P type MOSFET; a second electrical path connecting the positive terminal with a source terminal of the P type MOSFET; a first N type MOSFET; a grounded third electrical path connecting the second negative contact terminal with a drain terminal of the first N type MOSFET; a fourth electrical path connecting the ground terminal with a source terminal of the first N type MOSFET; a fifth electrical path connecting the first negative contact terminal and the fourth electrical path via resistance; a sixth electrical path connecting a gate terminal of the P type MOSFET with the fifth electrical path between the first negative contact terminal and the resistance; and a seventh electrical path connecting a gate terminal of the first N type MOSFET and the fifth electrical path between the sixth electrical path and the resistance."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 21, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/041855.
