MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081827 A) filed by Saint-Gobain Centre De Recherches Et Detudes Europeen, Courbevoie, France, on Aug. 28, for 'product for repairing a furnace.'

Inventor(s) include Consales, Thierry; and Malroux, Sylvain.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a packaged product comprising: - a sealed package; and - a wet unshaped product arranged in the sealed package and consisting, for more than 95% by weight: - of 4% to 15% water, in percentages by weight based on the weight of the wet unshaped product; - of 0.5% to 3.2% of a binder precursor, in percentages by weight based on the weight of the wet unshaped product; - of a ceramic powder, the binder precursor being chosen from among: - a colloidal silica having a specific surface area of at least 150 m2/g; and a mixture consisting of: - a colloidal silica, in an amount of 0.5% or more by weight based on the weight of the wet unshaped product, having a specific surface area of at least 500 m2/g; and - a hydrolysed silane and/or a siloxane, wherein the ceramic powder is made up of the ceramic particles without taking into account the colloidal silica particles."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/056162.
