MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079897 A) filed by Institute For Q-Shu Pioneers Of Space, Inc., Fukuoka, Japan, on Aug. 22, for 'processing device and computer program used in conjunction with spacecraft.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[Problem] To provide a processing device and a computer program that provide an image and/or image data more smoothly to a user that desires imaging by a spacecraft. [Solution] A processing device according to one embodiment is "a processing device including at least one processor used in conjunction with a spacecraft that images the earth, wherein the at least one processor" may be "configured to: receive, from a terminal device of a user, an order condition including coordinates of a location to be imaged or the coordinates and a date and time at which to image the location; send, to the terminal device of the user, determination results expressing whether imaging by the spacecraft based on the order condition is possible; and, if the determination results express that imaging by the spacecraft based on the order condition is possible, send, to the terminal device of the user, at least one candidate condition including a candidate date and time at which imaging of the location is possible."
