MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517095257 A) filed by Basf Se, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, on Oct. 3, for 'processing a primary product into a secondary product.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (100) for processing a primary product (A) into a secondary product (C), including the steps: providing (S15) at least one distinguishable quantity of a primary product (A); providing (S11) at least one a data structure (4') associated with the distinguishable quantity of a primary product (A), said data structure (4') including one data item (5) holding an object identifier indic- ative of the distinguishable quantity of the primary product (A); processing (S19) the at least one primary product (A) into a distinguishable quantity of a secondary product (C) by a processing device (11); generating (S28) an unique object identifier indicative of said obtained distinguisha- ble quantity; generating (S29) a new data structure (4) having at least one data item (5) holding the generated object identifier and one data item (5) holding the object identifier indicative of the quantity of the primary product (A); and providing (S52) said quantity obtained during the pro- cessing step (S19)."
