Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Processes For Making Endochin-Like Quinolones From Alkyl 3-(3-Alkoxyphenyl)Amino)-2-(4-(4- Alkoxy)Phenoxy)Phenyl)But-2-Enoate' Filed by Intervet International B. V.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054065 A) filed by Intervet International B. V., Boxmeer, Netherlands, on June 4, for 'processes for making endochin-like quinolones from alkyl 3-(3-alkoxyphenyl)amino)-2-(4-(4- alkoxy)phenoxy)phenyl)but-2-enoate.'

Inventor(s) include Chassaing, Christophe, Pierre, Alain; and Veit, Mr. Stephan.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A new scalable synthesis for the preparation of endochin-like quinolone compounds of Formula (I), wherein R is H, Cl or F, and R2 is C1-C2 alkyl, wherein the synthesis comprises is a process for preparing a compound of Formula (7), wherein R is H, Cl or F, and R1 is C1-C2 alkyl."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 06, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/084452.
