MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202144058101 A) filed by Heraeus Quarzglas Gmbh & Co. Kg, Hanau, Germany, on Dec. 14, 2021, for 'process for the preparation of synthetic quartz glass.'
Inventor(s) include Thurer, Martin; Lehmann, Walter; and Trommer, Martin.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described is a process for the production of synthetic fused silica in which the feedstock vapor is reacted from an organosilicon starting compound and any combustible burner auxiliary gases at an air number in the burner of less than or equal to 1.00. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a corresponding apparatus."
