Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Process For Preparing 5-Fluoro-4-Imino-3-Methyl-1-(Toluene-4-Sulfonyl)-3,4-Dihydro-1h-Pyrimidin-2- One' Filed by Adama Makhteshim Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096532 A) filed by Adama Makhteshim Ltd., Beer Sheva, Israel, on Oct. 7, for 'process for preparing 5-fluoro-4-imino-3-methyl-1-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-3,4-dihydro-1h-pyrimidin-2- one.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a process for obtaining 5-fluoro-4-imino-3-methyl-1-(phenyl-4-sulfonyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-2- one having formula (I), wherein R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, alkyl carbonyl, hydroxyalkyl, ester, acid halogen, -SH, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CN or CF3."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/052730.
