MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441068881 A) filed by Symed Labs Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Sept. 11, 2024, for 'process for preparation of highly pure lisdexamfetamine and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Hari Babu Bodepudi; Pramod Kumar; A. V. V. Srinivasa Rao; Janaki Rama Rao Ravi; and Phani Kumar Muppaneni.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a novel, commercially viable and industrially advantageous process for the preparation of highly pure Lisdexamfetamine and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof by using a novel intermediate.
