MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080506 A) filed by Societe Des Produits Nestle S. A., Vevey, Switzerland, on Aug. 25, for 'process for a legume based dried instant noodle.'
Inventor(s) include Garg, Prateeksha; Gulia, Neelam; Singh, Om Prakash; and Mehrotra, Piyush.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a process for the production of a legume based dried instant noodle. In particularly the invention relates to a process for the production of a legume based dried instant noodle using roasted legume flour selected from the group of chickpea splits, lentil splits, or a combination thereof, and cereal flour and starch and wheat gluten."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/057222.
