MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090874 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL), Stockholm, on Sept. 23, for 'prioritized transmission of packets.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method performed by a UE. The method includes, adding a set of one or more PDUs to a queue for an LC. The method also includes determining that the set of PDUs is flagged with a PSI indicator. The method further includes prioritizing the LC based on the PSI indicator and/or prioritizing the transmission of the set of PDUs based on the PSI indicator."
