MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202047052645 A) filed by Shuhou Co. Ltd., Fukui, Japan, on Dec. 3, 2020, for 'printing device and method for manufacturing printed matter.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a printing device that reduces moire of an image printed on a printed matter and a method for manufacturing a printed matter. According to the present invention, the printing device is provided with: a printing original plate provided with a mounting surface on which ink is mounted; a printing original plate stage on which the printing original plate is mounted; and a printing stage on which a printed matter having a surface to be printed is mounted and fixed. A printing blanket is configured to be freely movable between an upper part of the printing original plate stage and an upper part of the printing stage, and is configured to vertically move with respect to the printing original plate stage or the printing stage. The printing original plate is provided with a supporting body and a surface layer that is formed on the supporting body and has an ink-phobic material on at least a mounting surface side thereof. The mounting surface of the printing original plate is provided with an ink-phobic region that does not receive ink and an ink-philic region that receives the ink. The ink-philic region is an aggregate of a plurality of dots, and the plurality of dots are irregularly arranged at a prescribed density."
