Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Preparation Process For All-Solid-State Batteries' Filed by Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics Inc.

MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066837 A) filed by Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics Inc., Worcester, U.S.A., on July 14, for 'preparation process for all-solid-state batteries.'

Inventor(s) include Marchandier, Thomas; Lambert, Mathilde; and Ouspenski, Vladimir.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to preparation processes of an all-solid-state-battery (ASSB) element or of an ASSB comprising a halide solid electrolyte, wherein the processes comprise a step of oxidation and an outgassing step. The invention further relates to an ASSB element and an ASSB obtained with a process according to the invention."
