Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Preparation Of An S1p Receptor Modulator' Filed by Oppilan Pharma Limited

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517076791 A) filed by Oppilan Pharma Limited, San Diego, on Aug. 12, for 'preparation of an s1p receptor modulator.'

Inventor(s) include Bollu, Venkat; Collins, James; Nuss, John; Yuan, Shendong; and Wolckenhauer, Scott Alan.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is the preparation of the SIP receptor modulator tamuzimod ((R)-5-(2,5-dichloro-4-(5-(8-chloro-6- (trifluoromethyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)phenoxy)piperidin-2-one) and chemical intermediates used in the synthetic process."
