MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104257 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'predictive health resource planning system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A predictive health resource planning system comprises of a Data collection unit 101, configured to obtain daily internet search data and monthly expenditure data on anti-depressant medications across multiple geographic regions, a Data processing module 102, configured to preprocess and integrate said data over a defined time period, a prediction engine 103, employing machine learning models selected from regression-based, tree-based, or neural network-based models to estimate future demand for health services based on said integrated data, a Resource planning interface 104, configured to generate location-specific recommendations for health resource allocation based on said predicted demand, and a secure, query able database, storing the integrated data and resulting predictions for use by healthcare authorities in resource deployment decisions."
