Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Predicting One Or More Cleanliness Degrees For A Stained Region' Filed by Lg Electronics Inc.

MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088217 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'predicting one or more cleanliness degrees for a stained region.'

Inventor(s) include Chagana Boyana Ashesh; Balan Jayaprakash; Vishnumoorthi; and Patil Madagonda Rudragonda.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0065] A robotic cleaning method for predicting one or more cleanliness degrees for a stained region. The method comprises obtaining one or more images of stained region form an image-capturing device. Next, acquiring characteristics of the stained region based on the obtained one or more images. Next, predicting an ideal degree of cleanliness for the stained region based on the identified characteristics of the stained region. Next, obtaining energy efficiency requirement of a user and availability of one or more cleaning resources. Next, estimating requirements of the cleaning resources for cleaning the stained region, based on the predicted ideal degree of cleanliness for the stained region and the energy efficiency requirement of the user. Thereafter, predicting one or more cleanliness degrees for the stained region based on the obtained availability and estimated requirement of the cleaning resources."
