MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541111221 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 14, 2025, for 'pre inked rubber stamp automatic weight based refilling station.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses an automatic refilling station for pre-inked rubber stamps utilizes a weight-based feedback system to ensure precise ink refilling. The station comprises a filling station (2) with an integrated weighing balance (3) for supporting and measuring the weight of a stamp pad. A control unit, operated via a user interface (8), is programmed with a target ink weight. After initiation, the control unit opens a solenoid valve (6) to dispense ink from a gravity-fed bottle holder (4) through a flow nozzle (7) into the pad. The weighing balance (3) provides real-time weight data to the control unit, which immediately closes the solenoid valve (6) upon the measured weight reaching the preset target. This automated process prevents both under filling and overfilling, providing optimal stamp performance and eliminating ink spillagedef."
