The system comprises a lightweight background monitoring service that continuously observes file system events and captures behavioural indicators including file rename frequency and file access count. A behaviour analysis engine evaluates the captured data using predefined threshold conditions to identify abnormal activity indicative of ransomware behaviour. Upon detection of suspicious activity, an alerting module generates real-time user notifications through warning dialogs and visual indicators, enabling preventive action. The system further includes a user interface dashboard displaying monitoring metrics and system status. The invention operates with minimal resource consumption and supports continuous real-time monitoring in mobile environments."
