MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036392 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 15, for 'pre-dispersed solution, electrode composition, electrode slurry, electrode, and lithium-ion secondary battery.'

Inventor(s) include Ko, Minjin; Kim, Young Jae; Jun, Chan Soo; Kwon, Yohan; and Lee, Jaewook.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to a pre-dispersed solution containing single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), and an electrode composition, electrode slurry, electrode, and lithium-ion secondary battery, each comprising same, wherein the pre-dispersed solution contains 0 parts by weight (exclusive) to 1 part by weight (inclusive) of single-walled carbon nanotubes with lengths of 0 m to 0.2 m (both exclusive), and at least 15 parts by weight of SWCNTs with lengths of 10 m (inclusive) to 100 m (exclusive), relative to 100 parts by weight of the total single-walled carbon nanotubes. The pre-dispersed solution according to the described embodiments has controlled dispersibility and thus can contribute to an improvement in the phase stability of electrode compositions and/or electrode slurries as well as the stability, lifespan, and safety of electrodes and/or lithium-ion secondary batteries."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 28, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/003929.
