MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514062163 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on June 30, 2025, for 'power transmission device for hybrid vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Daisuke Naka; Yuya Ikuta; Hideto Ando; and Yudai Nakane.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To provide a power transmission device (4) for a hybrid vehicle capable of realizing a clutch (25) with a simple configuration and improving workability 5 of manufacturing operations of the power transmission device (4) having the clutch. [Solution] In the power transmission device (4), a pressing plate (32) has first claw portions (32E) and second claw portions (32F) that respectively abut on tubular engagement portion (27c) and slits (27d) of a driven gear (27), and the tubular engagement portion (27c) and the slits (27d) support the pressing plate (32) at the driven gear (27) via the first claw 10 portions (32E) and the second claw portions (32F) such that the pressing plate (32) is movable only in a rotation central axis (C1) direction of the wet clutch (25)."
