MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511126767 A) filed by Sher-E-Kashmir University Of Agricultural Sciences And Technology Of Kashmir; and Farmdraft Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'power-operated saffron corm sorting system.'

Further, the system (100) comprises power source (112) to provide rotation to the rotating sorting cylinder (108) for facilitating size-based separation and uniform grading of the saffron corns, wherein the power source (112) comprises. Further, the system (100) comprises plurality of collection trays (116) arranged below the rotating sorting cylinder (108) to receive grad."
