MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527067674 A) filed by Byd Company Limited, Shenzhen, China, on July 16, for 'power coupling device, power assembly and vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Yang, Shenglin; Gao, Yuan; Chen, Yong; Zhang, Hongming; and Xie, Lihua.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A power coupling device (1000), a power assembly (2000) and a vehicle (3000). The power coupling device comprises a driving assembly (200), a coupling member (400), an elastic member (300), a first power assembly (110), and a second power assembly (120). Two ends of the elastic member (300) are respectively fitted with the driving assembly (200) and the coupling member (400), and the first power assembly (110) is in normal transmission connection with the coupling member (400). When the power coupling device is in a coupled state, the second power assembly (120) and the coupling member (400) are in transmission connection. When the power coupling device is in a decoupled state, the second power assembly (120) and the coupling member (400) are disconnected from each other. The driving assembly drives the elastic member (300) so as to drive the coupling member (400), such that the power coupling device switches from the decoupled state to the coupled state."
