MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081468 A) filed by Fuji Electric Co. Ltd., Kawasaki, Japan, on Aug. 28, 2025, for 'power conversion device and power storage system.'

Inventor(s) include Yamada Ryuji; and Yoda Kazuyuki.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a power conversion device that comprises: a non-isolated DC-DC converter disposed between a DC battery and a DC bus to which one or more of the DC batteries are connected and to which a bus voltage is applied; and a current-limiting means for limiting at least one of an input current to the non-isolated DC-DC converter and an output current from the non-isolated DC-DC converter. The non-isolated DC-DC converter converts the battery voltage of the DC battery into the bus voltage and outputs the same to the DC bus when discharging the DC battery, and converts the bus voltage into the battery voltage and outputs the same to the DC battery when charging the DC battery. The current-limiting means is connected between the non-isolated DC-DC converter and the DC battery or between the non-isolated DC-DC converter and the DC bus."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/033180.
