MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059264 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 20, for 'pouch film laminate and secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Choi, Ji Eun; Kim, Sang Hun; Kang, Gyung Soo; Yu, Hyung Kyun; Lee, Jae Ho; and Lee, Ji Sun.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pouch film laminate according to the present invention comprises a base layer, a gas barrier layer, and a sealant layer, wherein the gas barrier layer comprises stainless steel, the gas barrier layer is disposed between the base layer and the sealant layer, and the difference between the energy-to-break of the gas barrier layer in the machine direction (MD) and the energy-to-break of the gas barrier layer in the transverse direction (TD) is at most 2000 J."
