MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057623 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 16, for 'pouch film laminate and secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Sang Hun; Kang, Gyung Soo; Lee, Jae Ho; Yu, Hyung Kyun; and Lee, Ji Sun.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pouch film laminate according to the present invention comprises a substrate layer, a gas barrier layer, and a sealant layer laminated in sequence, wherein the gas barrier layer contains stainless steel and has a thickness of 50m or greater, and the thickness of the substrate layer ranges from 10 to 30% of the thickness of the gas barrier layer."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 20, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/021082.
