MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057997 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 17, for 'pouch film laminate and secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Sang Hun; Kang, Gyung Soo; Lee, Jae Ho; Yu, Hyung Kyun; and Lee, Ji Sun.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pouch film laminate according to the present invention comprises: a base material layer; a sealant layer; and a gas barrier layer arranged between the base material layer and the sealant layer, wherein the gas barrier layer comprises stainless steel, and the tensile breaking strength of the pouch film laminate is 130 to 250% of the tensile breaking strength of the gas barrier layer."
