MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006591 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'posture control system.'
Inventor(s) include Satwinder Singh; Dr. Amresh Kumar; Dr. Ruchi Singla; and Dr. Parveen Singla.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A posture control system, comprises of a frame 1 having a platform 2 for accommodating a user, a touch enabled screen 3 that enables a medical practitioner to input details, an artificial intelligence based camera 4 that captures multiple images of the surrounding, a projection light 5 to project a light over platform 2, motorized pivot joint 7 concentrically attached between frame 1 and plurality of links 6 pivoted with the platform 2 to provide a revolutionary motion and adjust the height of the platform 2, a tachometer for detecting the revolution speed of the platform 2, a speaker 10 for alerting the user, multiple wheels 11 to maneuver the frame over a ground surface, and telescopically operated rods 12 for extending/ retracting the height of frame 1."
