MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020077 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'post pulling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Sahdev Singh; Alpana Joshi; Manoj Kumar; and Shivani Sharma.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A post pulling assistive device comprising a body 1 arranged with chain 2 to pulled out post from ground surface, suction cups 3 to grip body 1 with surface, camera 5 to capture user's images, gears 6 pivoted with links 7 for extracting/retracting body 1, a handle 8 for manoeuvring body 1 and to pull post from surface, wearable units 10 paired with handle 8 to exert force over handle 8, imaging unit mounted over unit 10 for detecting strain over user's arm, heating unit 11 attached over units 10 for providing relief to user, a pusher 12 attached between body 1 and handle 8 for pulling chain 2, C-shaped members 13 attached with body 1 via hinges 14 to move members 13 for covering post, flaps 15 fabricated with members 13 and attached via sliders 16 to slides flaps 15 to expand/contract members 13 for holding post."
