According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure is a positioning processing method, wherein the method is executed by an access network device or a network function. The method comprises: sending indication information to a terminal, wherein the indication information is used for the terminal to determine whether to send an uplink positioning reference signal request. By means of the method, after receiving the indication information, the terminal can determine, on the basis of the indication information, whether the uplink positioning reference signal request can be sent. Compared with situations in the relevant art in which it cannot be determined whether an uplink positioning reference signal request can be sent, whether to send or not to send an uplink positioning reference signal request can be clearly determined, such that the number of occasions in which the sending of the uplink positioning reference signal request is not accepted can be reduced, thereby reducing resource occupation, and improving the reliability of wireless communication."
