According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of communications. Provided are positioning mode determination methods and apparatuses, a device and a storage medium. A method comprises: in response to a positioning process initiated by a first terminal device, executing at least one of the following operations: determining a positioning mode corresponding to the positioning process; and receiving a positioning mode which corresponds to the positioning process and is sent by a network side device. The present disclosure provides a processing method for the scenario of "positioning mode determination", so as to provide a positioning mode determination mechanism when the first terminal device initiates the positioning process, thus reducing the situation that inaccurate positioning mode determination results in mismatch between a positioning mode and positioning information, or inaccessibility to the positioning information, and reducing the situation of positioning failure. The method can also determine positioning information corresponding to the positioning mode, thus improving the accuracy of positioning information determination."
