MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088374 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'portable waste carrying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Bed Prakash.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable waste carrying device, comprises of a hollow body 1 configured with a collapsible member 2 developed to be positioned over a ground surface, a frame clasped by a user manually or is capable of being attached with a carrier of a vehicle for allowing user to collect waste material and further positioning collected material within member 2, a display panel 4 for enabling user to input details regarding a mode of transport user desires to carry with body 1, a weight sensor to detect weight of waste material present within body 1, an imaging unit 6 for capturing and processing multiple images of waste materials, a LIDAR sensor is mapped on body 1 to detect type of surface over which body 1 is maneuvering and an electromagnetic spring installed on each of wheels 3 for expanding and compressing to absorb shocks generated by movement of body 1."
