MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020770 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'portable volleyball court cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Yash Chandra Gangwar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable volleyball court cleaning device comprises of a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface of a volleyball court, multiple wheels 2 for moving the platform 1 over the surface, an imaging unit 3 and synced with an ultrasonic sensor to locate any debris on the surface, a rectangular frame 4 horizontally via a pair of rods 5 and a curved flap 6 is mounted on the frame 4 by means of a pair of motorized hinges 7 to provide converging/diverging movement to the flap 6 in view of transferring soil from the surface to a meshed sheet 13 configured with the frame 4 for filtering the soil, and multiple motorized pivot joint 8 to provide a to and fro motion to the sheet 13 in a manner that the sheet 13 sieves the soil for filtering out the debris from the soil."
