MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010742 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'portable swimming training device.'
Inventor(s) include Pankaj Kumar Goswami; and Sunil Kumar Gaur.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable swimming training device, comprising a cylindrical hollow member 1 positioned within a water body, a telescopically operated rod 2 equipped with a suction cup 3 for adhering member 1 with bottom, a communication module integrated with a microcontroller for establishing wireless connection with computing unit for enabling user to select a location, a GPS integrated with the microcontroller for fetching real-time location of member 1 and based on which a route to be followed by member 1 is fetched, a motorized propeller 4 for maneuvering member 1, a motorized roller 5 for unwrapping a string 6 having a first end attached with a ring 7 for positioning ring 7 at suitable height within water, and an inflatable unit 8 equipped over ring 7 and paired with an air compressor for inflating the unit 8 for floating within water and user required to pass through ring 7 for training."
