MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020053 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'portable solar stack installation device.'
Inventor(s) include R. K. Jain; Jasvir Singh Rana; V. K. Tyagi; and Dhruv Joshi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable solar stack installation device comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned on a roof surface where solar panels are to be installed, a touch interactive display panel 2 that is accessed by a user for providing input regarding number of solar stacks to be installed on the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on the body 1 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple surrounding images, respectively to determine dimensions of the surface, a holographic projector 3 arranged on the body 1 and synced with the imaging unit 4 for projecting a virtual marking over the evaluated locations, and a pair of robotic arms 7 arranged on the body 1 for grabbing the solar stack stored within the body 1 and installing within the slot."
