The device comprises a mountable housing attachable to a whiteboard frame, an extendible arm supporting a wide-angle imaging sensor positioned to obtain a complete field of view of the writing area, an on-board processing unit configured to perform image rectification, glare reduction, noise suppression, stroke enhancement and perspective correction, and a wireless communication module for transmitting processed content to external devices or cloud platforms. The device supports automated capture modes including change-detection, periodic interval capture and continuous streaming, thereby documenting whiteboard updates without manual intervention. By retrofitting existing whiteboards, the invention offers a portable, cost-effective and non-intrusive solution for digitizing whiteboard content in classrooms, offices and collaborative environments."
