MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641074475 A) filed by Excelsoft Technologies Ltd on June 16, 2026, for "portable Self-Contained Examination Delivery Node And Method For Infrastructure-Independent Distributed Testing".
Inventor includes Adarsh Sudhindra.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT "PORTABLE SELF-CONTAINED EXAMINATION DELIVERY NODE AND METHOD FOR INFRASTRUCTURE-INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTED TESTING" The present invention provides a portable, self-contained examination delivery apparatus, designed to enable secure, high-stakes computer- based testing in environments lacking reliable internet connectivity or dedicated server infrastructure. The apparatus comprises a compact physical enclosure housing a processing unit, solid-state non-volatile storage, a local network interface configurable as a Wi-Fi Access Point, a hardware-based security subsystem, and a power management subsystem with USB power input. The apparatus delivers examinations to candidate devices entirely offline. A key security feature is an asymmetric cryptographic architecture wherein candidate responses are encrypted and stored locally in a data format that the portable apparatus itself is technically incapable of decrypting. Decryption is performed exclusively at a central server after secure upload, ensuring that physical theft or compromise of the edge device does not expose sensitive candidate data. The apparatus enables rapid deployment of secure testing centers in remote, temporary, or infrastructure-limited locations.
