MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087314 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'portable roof cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Asha Rajiv.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a portable roof cleaning device a frame 1 having multiple legs 2 developed to be positioned on an inclined rooftop of an enclosure, a wheel arrangement 3 connected with the legs 2 for maneuvering the frame 1 over the platform, a LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor 4 mapped on the frame 1 for detecting surface area of the roof top, a dust sensor 5 mapped on the frame 1 for detecting any presence of dust/ debris over the rooftop, multiple telescopic brushes 6 each configured with multiple hollow bristles 7 arranged on the frame 1, a water reservoir 10 configured with multiple sprinklers 11 mapped on the frame 1 to dispense water over the rooftop and an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 12 mapped on the frame 1 for capturing multiple images of the rooftop to detect presence of animals over the rooftop."
