MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007487 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'portable rescue device for four-wheeler vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Pratham Majumder.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable rescue device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprises of an elongated body 1 carved with holes 2 ranging from 12 to 15 utilize to position on a ground surface in proximity to door of a wrecked four-wheeler vehicle, a cuboidal block 3 installed with a curved member 4 configured on the body 1 that is placed in contact with outer guide channel of the door in case of an accidental situation, a camera 5 mounted on the body 1 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, a motorized hinge 7 configured between the member 4 and block 3 for tilting the member 4 in view of engaging the member 4 with the outer guide channel, and a pneumatic pin 9 installed with the block 3 to extend and insert within one of the holes 2."
