According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a portable non-invasive maternal health monitoring device (100) comprising a housing (102) with sensing surface (104), an optical sensor (106) featuring infrared and red light-emitting diodes operating at wavelengths of 660 nm and 940 nm with integrated photodetector and temperature sensor, processing circuitry (108) configured to calculate heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, body temperature, and hemoglobin concentration from optical signals using embedded algorithms including digital filtering and calibration, a display unit (110) for real-time visualization, a wireless communication module (112) for cloud data transmission, a clock module (114) for timestamping, and a storage device (116) for local data storage. The device operates in online mode transmitting data to cloud platforms when connected, and automatically switches to offline mode storing timestamped data locally when connectivity is unavailable, enabling comprehensive maternal health monitoring across diverse environments."
