MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010049 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'portable liquid transfer assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Dilip Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable liquid transfer assistive device, comprising a platform 1 installed with multiple telescopic rods 2 developed to be positioned on a surface, a suction cup 3 for affixing said platform 1 on surface, a slot 4 utilized to place a container filled with a liquid, a weight sensor for detecting placement of container on slot 4, a pair of telescopic bars 5 for positioning a pair of plates 6 on container to clamp container between clamps, an imaging unit 7 for determining presence of a receptacle near platform 1, a panel 8 for providing input, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting height of container's brim portion, a robotic arm 9 attached with a sheet 10 for placing sheet 10 at brim for directing liquid towards receptacle, a viscosity sensor for detecting consistency of liquid and a nozzle 11 coupled with a chamber 12 for dispensing thinner on sheet 10."
