MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018171 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'portable hands-free electronic gadget holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable hands-free electronic gadget holding device, comprises of a frame 1 having a proximal and distal end, a U-shaped flexible plate 2 engaged in between the upper and lower jaws of the user, an artificial intelligence-based first imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images in the vicinity of the frame 1, multiple motorized gripper 4 for acquiring a grip over the user's jaw, a telescopically operated rod 5 for extending to position a platform 6, a platform 6 for accommodating the electronic gadget, an artificial-intelligence-based second imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images of the electronic gadget, multiple motorized clippers 8 for gripping the electronic gadget, and a motorized ball and socket joint 9 for providing angular movement to the electronic gadget."
