MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007338 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'portable hand-wash solution dispensing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ramachandran T.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable hand-wash solution dispensing device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 to be installed on a wall surface, chambers 3 arranged within body 1 for storing different type of hand-wash solutions, an inlet 4 is crafted on chamber 3 to refill the solutions, a display panel 5 mapped with body 1 to input details regarding a type of solution, an electronic valve 6 integrated on the chamber 3 for dispensing a solution, an imaging unit 8 mounted on the body 1 in order to determines size of the user's palm, a tube 7 is paired with the valve 6 and mounted underneath the body 1, an ultrasonic sensor coupled on the tube 7 for detecting placement of the user below the tube 7 and a motorized iris lid 9 attached with the tube 7 for opening in order to dispense the solution over the palm."
