MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011470 A) filed by Inkoolu Design Private Limited; and Olemus Bioteck Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'portable food borne allergen detector.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a portable, pocket size detector to detect food borne allergens and to generate the data therein. The detector (1) comprises of a housing containing an absorbent pad (10) at its bottom; a processor (20); a display (30); and plurality of indicators (41,42). The present invention further discloses a method of detecting food borne allergens and generating the data therein."
