MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017529 A) filed by Bml Munjal University, Gurgaon, Haryana, on March 11, 2024, for 'portable electronic waste collecting and scraping system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable electronic waste collecting and scraping system, comprising a housing 1 attached with trailer of vehicle 3 for collecting waste from different places, a computing unit 4 accessed by user to ask for requirement of waste collection service, a GPS module fetches location of user and then, the person drives vehicle 3 at the location, a cuboidal body 5 is translated at location where the user inserts waste into body 5 and then, an amount corresponding to waste is credited to user's bank, then the person again translates the body 5 at vehicle 3 and products are translated onto a platform 10 via a tray, a primary robotic grippers 9 and secondary grippers place crushable and non-crushable parts into container 13 and vessel, where crushable part in transferred into receptacle upon crushing and then, the person transports vehicle 3 at the recycling plant."
