MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024895 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'portable eggs management device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable eggs management device comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface 2 within an enclosure, body 1 is constructed with an elongated member configured with a first 3 and second portion 4 to accommodate multiple eggs, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit installed on the frame for capturing and processing multiple images of surroundings, pair of motorized sliding units 5 configured on lateral sides of the platform to translate multiple flaps, a pair of double-rack gear arrangements configured on each of the platforms for translating plates, a microphone installed on the body 1 for receiving voice commands regarding accessing of egg from the body 1, a telescopically operated pusher 6 arranged on first 3 platform to push the eggs from first 3 platform towards second portion 4."
