MUMBAI, India, June 16 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611054515 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on April 29, for 'portable compressed biogas kit for fueling in two-wheelers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a portable compressed biogas kit for fueling two-wheelers, comprising a biogas purification mechanism, a compression unit, a high-pressure storage cylinder, and a fuel delivery system. The kit purifies biogas using silica gel and iron hydroxide pellets, compresses it to high pressures, and stores it in a cylinder equipped with safety features. The fuel delivery system includes a pressure regulator and fuelling nozzle for compatibility with two-wheeler engines. The system demonstrates significant reductions in emissions compared to petrol, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional fuels."
