According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a portable colorimetric detection kit for identifying drink spiking substances. The kit includes detection strips (100), each including a reagent matrix configured to react colorimetrically with drink spiking substances selected from benzodiazepines, ketamine, gamma-hydroxybutyrate, and scopolamine, wherein the reagent matrix produces a visible color change upon contact with the drink spiking substances. The kit further includes a sample collection container and compact housing containing the detection strips and sample collection container. The reagent matrix includes colorimetric reagents selected from Marquis reagent, Mandelin reagent, Ferric chloride reagent, and Ehrlich's reagent. The detection strips produce visible color change within 2 to 10 minutes upon contact with drink spiking substances at concentrations of 10 to 50 micrograms per milliliter."
